The church is the people, not the structure. And you don’t need a building to have fellowship. A lot of religions are the modern-day Pharisees and we know Jesus checked them. Caring too much about rules and regulations, and forgetting that love is the basis and foundation of what Jesus died for. And every religious organization has its rules and regulations, outside of what Jesus had and that’s where I also got lost. If it ain’t in the Bible, if it doesn’t stem from love, then I want nothing to do with it. Simple. Jesus is all the role model we need to know how to live a Christ-filled life. Unfortunately, most churches display Pharisees-type of living. Love is the currency.
